Heavy rain causes problems that mainly occur in walls without a cavity, and especially on the driving rain side (South-East, South, South-West). If the façade material is too porous, it will absorb a lot of rain. All that water sinks down and produces wet stains on exterior and interior walls.
Rain penetration can also be a problem with cavity walls, especially if a lot of debris ends up in the cavity, which can cause moisture transport to occur.
You can tackle this problem easily and permanently by hydrophobing the façade with WP7-401 Façade Waterproof. This makes the wall completely waterproof.
WP7-401 Façade Waterproof is vapour-permeable, meaning that the moisture present evaporates and the wall can dry out completely.
