Basement suddenly wet? Maybe rainwater or groundwater has diverted its way into the soil. Check that there are no underlying causes that need to be addressed first:
- Leak in water supply pipe: check your water meter regularly for unexpectedly high consumption.
- Damaged rainwater drainage: do you get water just after a heavy rain shower?
- Cracked sewers: pay attention to any unpleasant odours.
Have these causes been checked? Then you can use WP7-501 Basement + Wall Waterproof to permanently waterproof the wall from the inside.
